An international art exhibit presented by the Ontological Museum / International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Dada art movement.

In addition, the exhibition is also a tribute to Kurt Schwitters - an early proponent of Dada. Schwitters is recognized as a collage artist who early on used found object materials in his collages and dimensional "Merz" artworks. His work has had a major influence on many 20th/21st century artists, most notable being Robert Rauschenberg. 



"Dada was the first conceptual art movement where the focus of the artists was not on crafting aesthetically pleasing objects but on making works that often upended bourgeois sensibilities and that generated difficult questions about society, the role of the artist, and the purpose of art."

The Boyer Foundation presents the New York Big Apple II Project. The inaugural exhibition was in 2015 and they have decided to continue the concept as an annual event. Once again international artists were invited to participate in the small works art exhibit hosted at the Hudson Park Library Gallery (Greenwich Village) NYC.

Bibb Art Exhibit, Greenwich Village - NY, NY

The Boyer Foundation presents the New York Big Apple Project. International artists were invited to participate in a small works art exhibition at the Hudson Park Library (Greenwich Village) Reference Room Gallery. The gallery is an adjoining eight-sided room which has a long established tradition of presenting art exhibitions. 

During the 1930's, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (NY) began a series of outreach exhibits with the intent of sharing their collection of artworks and artifacts with the community at large. The Hudson Park Library Gallery was one of the locations chosen to present those exhibitions.
